Millennium Stadium Rugby Final

What a fantastic day of sport for Pontyclun!!
Two weeks ago the under 11's rugby team won against Dunvant to qualify for the final, a first for Pontyclun, and were amazed to find out the final would be played in the Millennium Stadium.
The boys played Langstone Primary School from Newport and won 21-0 crowning them Welsh Rugby under 11's schools champions. Children from years 5 and 6 were invited along as supporters and they cheered the boys on to their victory. We are so proud of their boys for this achievement, here's a few pictures from today:

Bowling and and Day 2 Skiing

What another great day in Austria. The weather was a little overcast this morning but it soon brightened up once the skiers got onto the mountain. We are all going swimming tonight and we will have our last day on the slopes tomorrow. Probably won' have time to past tomorrow as the last day is a rush to leave at approximately 5pm. The children have again been superbly behaved and all of them are skiing well and having lots of fun. Hope the weather is good at home, see you on Friday.

We will ask Miss Harwood to post an ETA at around 11 pm on the news blog.

See you soon

Lats nights bowling and today's skiing below;

Skiers arrive safely

Hi everyone, we arrived this afternoon after a long but enjoyable journey. All the children were fabulously behaved, after arrival we want tobogganing. We then came back to the hotel to have food and the children are now enjoying the Tirolean evening. I will try and post some photos as soon as the dancing finishes as we are taking photos for you at the moment. We will be skiing tomorrow at 9.30 am before bowling tomorrow night.
