Due to our ongoing work with Cardiff City's Football In The Community Scheme, we were given 50 tickets for their recent match with Nottingham Forrest. The children from years 5 and 6 had a fantastic time and were a credit to the school. Josh, Katie and Tom had their poems in the match day program and one lucky member of our school even had the opportunity to "score from the corner" in order to win £900. Unfortunately he was unsuccessful but he did come very close. May I thank Gary Wilmot, CCFC liaison officer and the other members of staff who came along with us and gave up their Saturday afternoon to take the children to the match.
